This page is designed to give guidance to exercise professionals globally, in particular those enquiring about how portability between ICREPs members works.
Most importantly, ICREPs does not provide 1:1 advice or answer questions related to individuals portability or qualifications. This page is designed to give guidance on who to contact, and what overview info ICREPs can provide. If you have been told that ICREPs issues letters or portability this is incorrect – these are issued by our members (ie the National Registers such as REPs UAE or AUSactive).
All questions should be directed to our members listed at the bottom of this page.
Common scenarios:
- If you completed your training in an ICREPs member country (listed at the bottom of every page of our web site) then you should direct your queries to them. You should also be registered with them.
- If you completed your training in a country that does not have an ICREPs member, but you are moving to a country with one, then contact that register. They can explain what options are available to you,.
- If you competed your training in a country that does not have an ICREPs member and moving to another country that does not have an ICREPs member, then ICREPs has nothing to do with this process.
Our matrix page may also be useful to help determine how registrations map between ICREPs member.
Important: ICREPs members have portability arrangements based on registration not qualification. To give yourself the best and easiest options of being recognised in another country, you should be registered with your local ICREPs member.
